Millicent Clarke is an accomplished Human Resources executive with extensive global experience across financial services, shipping, logistics, and education. Renowned for her commitment to diversity and inclusion, she empowers minorities, women, and young adults through leadership and personal development initiatives.
Her dedication has earned recognition, including inclusion in the 2022 INvolve People Top 100 Executives and the Yahoo Finance Global Empower Role Model list. As a Board Director and shareholder of Legacy Girls College—the first private boarding girls’ high school in Ghana—she actively supports girls’ education. Millie has previously served on the boards of Maersk South Africa and Standard Chartered Bank, Zimbabwe.
She regularly shares her expertise through speaking engagements and published articles, promoting workplaces that value diverse perspectives. Millie is a member of the Institute of Directors in South Africa and the International Coaching Federation, providing leadership development and executive coaching to organisations and individuals.
She is the Founder of FortLina Consult, a leadership and HR consultancy, and author of “MILLIE: My Gift of Bangles”, a career memoir celebrating unity, diversity, resilience, and grace.
CHAIRPERSON
Dr. Emmanuel Nii Ayi Solomon is a tourism consultant, academic, creative entrepreneur, and professional tour guide with extensive experience across the tourism, hospitality, and creative arts sectors in Ghana. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Ghana, where his research focused on Place Storytelling in Tourism and the role of narratives in shaping destination experiences and tourist decision-making.
Dr. Solomon’s career blends teaching, research, creative writing, and practical tourism expertise. He lectures at Accra Technical University and has taught at Heritage Christian College and the University of Ghana Business School. His academic work covers tourism destination marketing, storytelling, destination competitiveness, and the creative economy, with several publications in reputable journals and book chapters.
He is the Founder and Creative Director of Village Minds Production, a non-profit theatre company that stages original plays highlighting Ghanaian and African narratives. His productions have been performed for institutions such as Alliance Française, the Australian High Commission, the British Council, Plastic Punch, and other organisations.
Dr. Solomon is also the Founder of Cool Trips & Tours, a company providing curated tour experiences across Ghana, Togo, and Benin. He has designed and led hundreds of tours, supported hospitality businesses in achieving significant revenue growth, and consulted for leading brands in Ghana’s tourism and hospitality industry.
A sought-after speaker, he has delivered lectures and presentations at international institutions such as Oakton Community College, Howard University, Central Piedmont Community College, and the Indiana University Africa Gateway Conference. His work in storytelling, heritage tourism, and creative arts advocacy continues to shape conversations on decolonising tourism narratives and preserving African identity.
Dr. Solomon has travelled widely across Africa, Europe, and Asia, and remains passionate about authentic storytelling, youth development, and the future of African tourism.
VICE CHAIRPERSON
Sebastian Quame Mensah Zowonu is an experienced management, human resource, and marketing professional with a rich and diverse career spanning over two decades across education, media, HR, and corporate administration. He is recognised for his strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and proven capacity to improve organisational processes, enhance workforce productivity, and build effective multicultural teams.
Sebastian has held key positions, including Human Resource and Marketing Manager at ALS Aluminium & Civil Works Ltd, Director for West Africa at eSyllabus for Africa, Country Manager for ISABT Ghana, and Senior Marketing Executive and Presenter at Eagle FM. His professional journey demonstrates consistent excellence in HR systems development, recruitment, training, client relations, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.
With a background that blends teaching, coaching, programme implementation, and business development, Sebastian has worked closely with educational institutions, policy influencers, and corporate organisations across West Africa. His work at eSyllabus for Africa, where he coordinated operations across multiple countries and managed scholarships, sponsorships, and staff performance, reflects his ability to drive growth and lead teams with clarity and vision.
Sebastian holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from the Open University of Malaysia, an HND in Marketing from Cape Coast Technical University, and a Teacher’s Certificate A from the E.P. College of Education. He is known for his excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, strong organisational insight, and capacity to meet demanding deadlines.
A problem solver and strategist, he brings creativity, diligence, and results-oriented leadership to every role. His interests include photography, videography, travelling, sports, and community service.
SECRETARY
Mr. Felix Yao Adjavor is a highly accomplished cultural administrator, security analyst, and French education specialist recently appointed by the President of the Republic of Ghana as the Acting Executive Director of the National Folklore Board. With over two decades of multidisciplinary experience spanning defence and international politics, tourism, cultural research, and education, he brings a rare blend of academic rigour, creative insight, and policy awareness to national cultural leadership.
Mr. Adjavor holds a Master of Science in Defence and International Politics from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, a Bachelor of Science in Management and Computer Studies from Wisconsin International University College, and an HND in Tourism from Cape Coast Technical University. He also trained as a French educator at the University of Cape Coast’s Institute of Education and advanced his language proficiency through the renowned Village du Benin (Université du Togo).
His professional background includes extensive work in French education, tourism development, research on security sector reform, migration, and conflict studies, as well as thought leadership in Ghana’s creative and cultural sectors. His research publications cover regional security, humanitarian issues, and cultural heritage, while his teaching career demonstrates a strong commitment to youth development and academic excellence.
Mr. Adjavor is fluent in English and French, skilled in research, communication, cultural analysis, and institutional leadership. His appointment to the National Folklore Board reflects his deep dedication to safeguarding Ghana’s indigenous knowledge systems, promoting cultural diplomacy, and strengthening the creative economy.
He continues to champion the preservation and promotion of Ghanaian folklore, traditional expressions, and cultural heritage through strategic leadership, scholarly insight, and community engagement.

Hanania Djibom is a seasoned corporate banking and business development executive with over 13 years of progressive experience in the African financial sector. A native French speaker from Togo, he brings strong cross-cultural competence, regional business insight, and a deep understanding of Francophone–Anglophone collaboration, making him a valuable asset to LinguaLink Africa’s mission of strengthening language and cultural exchange across the continent.
Hanania currently serves as the Head of the Business Centre (Corporate Banking) at Bank of Africa, Tema, where he leads strategic growth initiatives, manages high-performing teams, and oversees major corporate portfolios across key sectors including energy, mining, manufacturing, construction, and telecoms. His leadership has delivered outstanding results, including more than 187 percent growth in deposits and 241 percent growth in risk assets, and the successful execution of high-value syndications with regional and global financial institutions.
Over the years, he has held significant roles at Bank of Africa Ghana, Heritage Bank, First Atlantic Bank, and Access Bank, where he led multi-million-dollar financing arrangements, structured complex trade facilities, and built strong relationships across West Africa. His expertise spans credit appraisal, financial modelling, cross-border trade development, syndicated lending, and strategic corporate financing.
Hanania holds an Executive MBA in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana. His strong analytical skills, business acumen, and deep knowledge of both Anglophone and Francophone markets uniquely position him to support LinguaLink Africa’s bilingual and multicultural programmes.

Rev. Fr. Joachim Rufin Ake Aboa is an accomplished Ivorian Catholic priest, educator, and psychotherapist with over two decades of pastoral, academic, and administrative experience. A former diocesan priest of Grand-Bassam, he combines a strong foundation in philosophy, theology, and sociology with professional training in psychological counselling obtained in Kenya.
Fr. Aboa is currently the Parish Priest of Sainte Famille d' Aklomiabla, Koumassi Parish. He has held significant leadership roles within the Catholic educational system in Côte d’Ivoire, including serving as Head of School, Spiritual Director, and Diocesan Director of Catholic Education for the Diocese of Grand-Bassam. His experience extends to national assignments, most notably as National Executive Secretary of Catholic Works (Œuvres Catholiques) in Abidjan.
A bilingual communicator fluent in both French and English, Fr. Aboa has taught English, Religion, Moral Education, and served as a mentor and spiritual guide for countless students at the secondary and seminary levels. His pastoral service also includes roles as Chaplain, Episcopal Vicar, and Director of Catholic Pontifical Mission Societies (OPM).
Known for his integrity, dedication to youth development, and commitment to holistic human formation, Fr. Aboa brings a rich blend of counselling expertise, educational leadership, and cross-cultural experience to every role he serves.

Patricia Abena Kissi is a distinguished Human Resource Management and Business Development Consultant with over eighteen years of experience supporting organisations across Ghana to strengthen their people capabilities and drive sustainable growth. As a co-founder of LinguaLink Africa, she brings her passion for youth development, cultural exchange, and educational empowerment to the forefront of the organisation’s mission.
Patricia is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SEDAT Consult Limited, where she has successfully worked with leading institutions across the public and private sectors to enhance workforce effectiveness, develop HR systems, and implement strategic capacity-building programmes. Her extensive experience spans recruitment, training and development, succession planning, performance management, HR policy design, and organisational development.
Recognised as an IFC-LPI Certified TPMA Trainer and a respected thought leader in HR and learning, Patricia has designed and delivered numerous high-impact training programmes, conferences, and workshops. She is deeply committed to nurturing young talent, empowering professionals, and advancing learning interventions that equip people with skills for growth.
Her leadership, commitment to excellence, and strong networks across education, business, and development sectors make her a driving force behind LinguaLink Africa’s vision. Patricia plays a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that its programmes deliver meaningful, inclusive, and transformative experiences for children and young people across the continent.
